Process Overview

In summary it’s a 6 step process to achieving new business in India.  Each step minimises your risk and builds on the step before.  We jointly agree to move forward following a successful completion of the previous step.

Step 1: Make your initial application on this website.  We will call you to confirm receipt and tell you what to expect next.

Step 2: We will perform some initial due diligence and then undertake a quick market test in conjunction with CMC to ensure that there is a market for your product in India.

Step 3: We will conduct a detailed market assessment.  Following a phone briefing and or webcast by you to CMC staff, they will conduct in-market interviews and research and prepare a market assessment report.

Step 4: The next step is to visit India.  CMCTEC will arrange and host an in-market visit.  The purpose of this is to visit some potential customers identified in the market assessment, gain first hand market feedback and meet with the CMC team.

Step 5: The Go-to-Market Plan (GTM).  CMCTEC will manage the joint preparation of a detailed GTM setting out the approach and strategy, joint investment, sales resources, marketing plan, sales targets and reporting process.

Step 6: Finally, a binding MOU will be agreed between you and CMC setting out the commercial arrangements between the parties.
